You sure did. Our wonderful venue is committed to being as green and sustainable as possible. Therefore, it has a strict "No Single Use Plastics" policy for all events and guests, including ours. There will be no single use plastics used throughout the Wedding, and we greatly, greatly appreciate you also abiding by this policy, if you are able.
Weird question, but it makes sense for footwear considerations. The floors are smooth hardwood.
Yes. There are technically a few stairs (half a floor) leading from the entrance of the venue to the floor where the Wedding will take place. However, there is an elevator available and useable for all guests that need it.
Nope. Other than non-perishable food, the venue prohibits bringing in any outside food or alcohol to the event. You are permitted to bring sealed food/alcohol, but it must remain sealed for the entire event.

If your invitation specifically mentions "Guest" or names a specific person as a Plus One, then you are free to bring whoever your heart desires. If it does not, then we respectfully request that you do not bring a Plus One or reach out to us to confirm whether the option is available. Building a guest list is difficult, so thanks for understanding!
While we love your children, we are kindly requesting that you leave them at home for the night. There will be a few children from our immediate families, but otherwise, we are intending the Wedding to be kid-free. We appreciate your understanding, and we hope you'll take advantage of the fun date-night out! If you need an accommodation to this, please reach out to us, and we can discuss it.
Leave the jeans at home because we'd love our wedding to be a formal affair! Ladies, feel free to wear a formal cocktail dress or even a floor-length gown if that suits your fancy. Gentlemen, we encourage you to wear a suit and tie. Can't wait to dance the night away in style!
The doors to the venue will open at 4 PM EST on Saturday, April 12, 2025, with the ceremony beginning at 4:30. So come grab a good seat to see Spencer all snazzy in his tux and bet on whether he'll cry when Katie walks down the aisle.
When you RSVP online, we'll include a section for dinner selection and mention of any allergies, restrictions, or preferences.
Great question! Please click the "Arriving and Thriving" tab above for travel and hotel advisement.
Another great question! There is a specific section in the "Arriving and Thriving" tab above regarding parking. To summarize, the following (from closest to furthest) are all parking structures/lots that are within reasonable walking distance to the venue, in addition to street parking (free after 7 PM EST): Cherry Commerce Parking Ramp (141 Commerce Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503); Studio Park(ing) (120 Ottawa Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503); Weston-Commerce Ramp (30 Weston St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503); The Gallery Ramp (14 Commerce Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503); Monroe Center Parking Ramp (37 Ionia Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503); Fulton & Ottawa Parking Ramp (32 Ottawa Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503); and Monroe Center Ramp (50 Ottawa Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
If you are staying at the Canopy, then you can simply walk across the street to the venue. Otherwise, you will likely need to rely on either ridesharing (Uber/Lyft), walking, rentable scooters/bikes, or public transit.
There is indeed. Please click the "Registry" tab above.
