Airport Information

The closest airport to June Lakes is the Mammoth Yosemite Airport, though flights are infrequent. The next closest airport is in Bishop (60 miles south of June Lakes), and has service from San Francisco, Denver, and Los Angeles. Airports further away are in Reno and the Los Angeles Area.

There are NO taxis or ride sharing available in June Lakes. DO NOT expect to take a taxi, Uber, Lyft or bus around the June Lakes Loop. We will be providing a shuttle to and from the wedding site on Saturday. There will be designated pick up/drop off locations and specific times to catch the shuttle. Please stay tuned for the shuttle schedule. The shuttle will only be servicing locations around The June Lakes Loop, so we encourage you to book lodging in this area. Please let us know where you are staying so we can organize pick up times.

Hotels, Motels and Cabin Rentals

June Lakes Loop has options for everyone! There are lodges, Airbnb, VRBO, hotels, motels (no Holiday Inn). When looking for lodging options, please be sure to look in the June Lakes Loop, NOT in the Mammoth Lakes area. Mammoth is about 20 miles south of June Lakes. We will not be holding any events in Mammoth, only in June Lakes. Please book ASAP as June Lakes is a popular summer destination. Be aware, some lodging may not have open summer schedules until Spring 2022; or may have a minimum night requirement. If June Lakes doesn't suit you, close towns are Lee Vining and Mammoth Lakes. June Lakes is a small town in which you can walk or bike to locations. Camping

There are a plethora of tent and RV/van camping if you want a more outdoor type of weekend. Again, when looking for sites, look in the June Lakes Loop, not Mammoth Lakes. They are not the same place. Please use the Shuttle RSVP to let us know where you are staying. Most campsites book up well in advance. Usually, booking can be made 6 months in advance, but please refer to the campsites individual information for details. We encourage you to set up your campsite reservation as soon as you can. We cannot emphasize how quickly sites book up. Please book them ASAP.
