The Adirondacks

The Wedding Website of Sarah McHenry and Robert Weeks
Growing up, Sarah counted down the days every year -- not to Christmas, or her birthday -- but until the week where the McHenrys would drive up to the Adirondacks. There, they would join up with Sarah's extended family from Buffalo and spend a week in an old hunting cabin on Cranberry Lake. Sarah always felt most at home surrounded by nature and the love of her family. In July 2022, Sarah introduced Robbie to the Adirondacks. They spent a few days exploring the area she treasured as a child and loved it so much that they made plans to come back every year. On July 6, 2024, Robbie surprised Sarah by proposing to her on the shores of Upper Saranac Lake, where they had gone two years before for a sunset picnic date on her 31st birthday. Sarah (obviously) said yes. Read on for a list of some of our favorite things to do here...
