Where should I stay?

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Cambria Hotel Lake Placid, which is an ~8-10 minute walk (or quick shuttle trip) from the ceremony site at the Canoe Club and an ~18-20 minute walk (or equally quick shuttle trip) from the Whiteface Lodge. What's the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is $6 at Whiteface Lodge (unless you are a guest, in which case it is complimentary valet). Self-parking will be available at the hotel block at the Cambria Hotel. Downtown Lake Placid has limited on-street parking.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can, but please do so by August 1!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome to join us at the Welcome BBQ on Friday and the farewell breakfast on Sunday. The ceremony and reception are adults-only. If you need assistance with finding childcare, please contact Nancy Weeks (908-347-4478) or email us at weeksmchenrywedding@gmail.com. If you are staying at the Whiteface Lodge, there is a game room, pool, and movie theater that your children and their caretakers can use as much as they want!

Anything else I should know?

Please download an offline map of the area to Google/Apple Maps to your phone, as service can be spotty (especially on the road from I-87 to Lake Placid).
