FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ian Michael Glisson and Morgan Elyse Curschman
Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you’re planning to stay a few days and really want to enjoy all of the possible activities—like hiking for incredible views, exploring Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, visiting waterfalls, golfing, renting a pontoon boat or even whitewater rafting—we 100% recommend renting a car or driving to North Carolina instead of flying. Rideshare options such as Uber are really not an option.

Question

Can I drive my car to the venue or will there be transportation?

Answer

There’s no parking at the venue, so we are working to set up nearby options. If you’re staying in one of our room blocks or on Main Street, you’ll be able to hop on our shuttles. Otherwise, you can head straight to our designated event parking lot and a shuttle will bring you up to the house. A shuttle schedule and exact pickup locations will be provided closer to the date.

Question

What is the Welcome Party Dress Code?

Answer

Casual Cocktail - Polished but relaxed, elevated yet effortless — think summer dinner party meets low-key cocktail hour. For Women: Flowy dresses, breezy jumpsuits, or chic sets in lightweight fabrics. Bold colors, playful prints, or crisp neutrals all welcome. All shoe types welcome, will be indoors and on terrace. For Men: Linen or cotton button-downs, polos, or short-sleeve shirts. Tailored pants, chinos, or dressy shorts. Loafers, clean sneakers, or espadrilles — no jackets or ties needed. Question

What is the Ceremony Dress Code?

Answer

Garden Glam - Think of it as a black-tie garden party with a twist! It’s cocktail attire, but with personality. This is your chance to have fun with your look—rich colors, bold silhouettes, and statement details are all welcome. For Women: Embrace the festive spirit with your most playful pieces—think embellishments, sequins, color blocking, florals, feather touches or anything that feels celebratory and summer-ready. Elevated dresses, chic jumpsuits, or stylish sets are perfect, and accessories should bring just as much personality. Opt for block heels or dressy flats (we’ll be on grass!). That said, don’t feel pressured to go all in on the garden glam theme—colorful dresses of any length, whether simple or bold, are just as welcome! For Men: Linen or lightweight suits, relaxed blazers, or tailored separates in soft or earthy tones. Open collars, cool textures, and grass-friendly shoes like loafers or dress sneakers. No tie required. Inspo Board Here: https://pin.it/6njKF4tE3
