FAQs

The Wedding Website of Laura Sztejnberg and Wayneford Sterling
We hope these provide the answers to some commonly-asked questions!
Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes. We are having a black tie wedding. For men, that means a tuxedo or if not, a black/dark suit. For women, feel free to wear your best ball gown!

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Nope! While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are requested before September 23, 2021. You have received a reply card with your invitation that you can mail back to us.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Cipriani Wall Street by 6pm on October 23, 2021

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have some hotel room blocks reserved at The Beekman Hotel, The Frederick Hotel, and the Millennium Hilton. You can find info on the Travel page. Details here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/waynefordandlaura/travel

Question

Are you registered for gifts? Where?

Answer

The most important thing to us is the gift of your presence at our wedding! And we are getting married at a point in our lives that we have all the material things we could want or hope for. For that reason, we are not doing a traditional gift registry, but instead opted for a registry that will allow us to continue what we love to do - travel together. We are registered for a "Honeymoon Fund" to which you can donate if you choose to do so. Details are here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/waynefordandlaura/registry

Question

What are the policies regarding Covid-19?

Answer

Our priority is the safety and comfort of our guests: if you are uncomfortable celebrating indoors at a large event we completely understand if you cannot attend and also understand if you would feel more comfortable celebrating while masked! At this time, we expect that it is necessary for ALL guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including the 2 week wait after your final dose) before celebrating with us because of NYC policies. We will be closely monitoring local and federal guidance on additional safety protocols and will inform you all ASAP if we will need to do any of the following: proof of vaccination prior to entering, proof of negative COVID testing before the event, and/or masking during the event itself.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

There is no parking for Cipriani but there are several nearby parking garages. Street parking will be limited in the area. Be aware that this is downtown Manhattan with many narrow, one-way streets, so you may want to map out a route to a specific parking garage. Otherwise, the location is easily available by Uber/Lyft/Taxi and subway.
