The cabins are a short walk or shuttle ride down a hill that is not accessible by private car. When you arrive, the shuttle can take you down to the cabins or you can walk (note that it is somewhat steep). If you aren't staying overnight in the cabins, you'll need a discover pass to park ($10). This is included with cabin rental, so if you are staying, it doesn't apply. Let us know if you need this and we will be happy to get one for you. For more information, visit the Cama Beach website: https://parks.state.wa.us/483/Cama-Beach
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Come hang out on the beach/ near the cabins as soon as you’ve checked in and moved into your cabin! You can check in as early as 4pm. We will be grilling burgers, hot dogs, and veggie dogs, and will have enough food for everyone who can make it Friday night. Can’t wait to start the celebrations! NOTE: BYOB for Friday evening.
4:30 pm - 9:30 pm
You are welcome to wear whatever you consider fitting for a May camping weekend wedding celebration. We will be in our wedding attire and invite you to get dressed up as little or as much as you want!
We have decided to forego a ceremony (since we got married May 2, 2020) and skip right to the good part: the party! Don't worry, though...we will be sharing our wedding video at some point during the reception. We'll start in the Great Hall at Cama Beach State Park on May 7th at 4:30 with a social hour, followed by dinner and dancing. If you are up for continuing the party after the reception, we hope to share in bonfire fun (weather pending) down by the cabins.
