We can't wait to see you at Cama Beach State Park on May 6-8th, 2022, with the wedding celebration on Saturday, May 7th. Although the public celebration of our love has been postponed twice, we got married on the original date, May 2, 2020, in our backyard. We matched on coffee meets bagel (a dating app that sends you one potential match a day). There’s a spot on the profile that has you complete the sentence “I like when my date...” Wayne’s response was “appreciates discussig pi while eating pi”, which made Susie swoon, despite a spelling error that almost had her reconsider. She responded with “you had me at pi” and they met at Pies and Pints for their first date. It was going well for a couple hours until Susie asked “How old are you, 28, right?” Wayne hadn’t mentioned that the very day was his birthday, so he responded: “28...today!” Although she couldn’t believe it, she was already hooked and therefore insisted on paying for the date. She told him he would get the next one, and he did! They have enjoyed many dates and pi(e) related activities since then.
