When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married at Sterling Hills Gold Club at 901 Sterling Hills Dr, Camarillo, CA 93010. The ceremony will start at 5pm with cocktail hour and reception to follow at the same location.

What last name will the couple have?

Answer

Even after getting married, Laura and Sean will be keeping their own last names. We are a family already so we do not feel the need to share a last name to be one! If you are planning on giving a personalized gift, you can hyphenate Waters-Lewellyn, or just put Sean and Laura. For anything that requires last names in the future, please put Sean Lewellyn and Laura Waters.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we are having an adults only wedding. We are making an exception for our nieces and nephews, who will participate in the ceremony, and our bridal party. For all other attendees we kindly ask that you please find a sitter and enjoy a parents’ night out!

By when should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 28th. If we have not received your RSVP by then we will consider you as “Not Attending.”

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Can we ship registry items to you directly?

Answer

Yes! In fact, that might be much easier given that we have so many people coming from out town. We also have a honeymoon fund on Zola is you would prefer to drop some cash :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at Sterling Hills. They have graciously allowed cars to remain the parking lot overnight if guests are unable to drive back to the hotels/home after the reception. However, we are planning on having a shuttle bus transport guests from their hotels to the venue and back. Stayed tuned for more info!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Will your pug, Mervin, be a guest at the wedding?

Answer

We adore our pug, and even though he is the sweetest little guy, he will not be present at our wedding. However, keep an eye out for ways he will be incorporated into the special day...
