What day should we arrive?

Answer

Virginia Beach is in full swing in August. We recommend arriving on Thursday/early Friday if you are able so you have a day or two to "kick around" as Rob Vos would say! Nothing better than a day at the beach or pool this time of year! See our 'Things to Do' page!

Are the ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes, we are getting married at the Princess Anne Country Club. Both ceremony and reception will take place there. Address is 3800 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal for a country club garden party (reception is indoors). Suits for men and cocktail, midi, and long dresses for women.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. All hotels are very close by to the venue, except the Delta Hotel, which is just down Shore Drive, about 12 minutes. Also, Ubers and Lyft are very easy to get down at the Oceanfront.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Feel free to park at the Princess Anne Country Club. And please feel free to leave your car overnight if needed.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We LOVE your kiddos! That said, no, there will not be children at the wedding. Happy to help with babysitting recommendations!

Are there events going on in Virginia Beach that weekend?

Answer

YES! The East Coast Surfing Championships will be going on the weekend of the wedding and are fun to watch! Visit www.surfecsc.com for more info on time of competitions at 1st St Jetty.
