Carolyn and Lindsey have been friends since 2001. They spent weekends traveling and having fun with Lindsey's dad in Binghamton and Schuylerville, NY. Carolyn and Lindsey have remained friends through grade school, college, and beyond. They have traveled many places together where they have gone ziplining and skydiving. Most notable they have been to Maui, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Miami. Carolyn got married to Matthew Slavick in Canada July 2022 and Lindsey was proudly her Maid of Honor.

DJ and Joe have been friends since they started anesthesia residency together. They are both chief residents for their program. DJ's wife Alyssa is clearly the social chair of the friend circle and regularly gets us together for fun activities like local trivia that Joe is terrible at. DJ is training to be a anesthesia pain specialist.

Alice Lee

Alice and Lindsey have known each other since 2015 when they started Physician Assistant school at Albany Medical College together. Once they spent a few hours studying together, they knew they were going to be best friends for life. Like Lindsey, Alice also completed additional training after PA school via a Surgical Residency at John's Hopkin's Hospital. They have stayed in touch since because they have bonded over their similarities and learned from their differences. Alice teaches Lindsey about Korean culture and food. Lindsey teaches Alice about dogs.

David is one of Joe's anesthesia co-residents. He is thinking of giving up his life to the intensive care unit just like Joe! They play basketball together and debate Embiid vs. Giannis for MVP. David and his wife Jade have two children.

Bianca Mancera

Bianca and Lindsey met one another in Rochester, MN in 2017 at the apartment dog park. Bianca and her husband, Colin, have two Australian Shepherds and instantly bonded with Lindsey, Joe, and Rye. They have shared many game nights, weekends, and chill afternoons together. Bianca is that friend that you can hang out with for hours, nap on her couch, stay for dinner, and not even realize a whole day has passed. Bianca and Colin now have two young boys, Rowan and Reece. They also have three dogs, Lainey, Byron (Aussies) and Augie (golden doodle).

Michael and Joe first met while interviewing for residency and are now coresidents in the anesthesia program. Michael is also a big baseball fan and is working toward visiting every MLB stadium, but unfortunately he is doomed for a lifetime of rooting for the Twins. Michael and his wife Camille have a son and another child on the way.

Sam and Lindsey have been friends since 1999. They first met in kindergarten at an after school daycare. They have shared young memories of Girl Scouts and dance together. They were inseparable in elementary school (St. Rose of Lima in Syracuse, NY). Sam was always the well-behaved, quiet girl, and Lindsey was her excitable, talkative bestie. While they went to different schools after that time, they stayed in touch and always stayed connected with one another. Sam got married to Erik Olivieri in Syracuse September 2022 and Lindsey was proudly one of her bridesmaids.

Timothy Evans

Tim and Joe have been friends since they started anesthesia residency together. Tim and Joe share a love for personal finance as well as medicine. They commiserate about their many nights covering patients at the local prison. Tim was an English teacher prior to pursuing medicine. Tim and his wife Camille will be moving to Duluth, MN for his first job after residency.

Michael is Joe's brother. Joe must have convinced Michael about the virtues of having a dog after getting Rye and Jive because Michael now has his first dog too. Michael works in computer engineering.

Rye is the beautiful, talented, red-merle Australian Shepherd, owned by Lindsey and Joe. He has accomplishments in agility, frisbee, and therapy work.

Jive is the brilliant, spunky, blue-merle Australian Shepherd, owned by Lindsey and Joe. She is Rye's mom and also has accomplishments in agility, frisbee, and therapy work.
