The roads to the Castle are in the mountains and include a lot of tight turns at higher altitude. Take your time on these roads. If applicable, it may be helpful to have something to treat motion sickness on your drive in.
Yes. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner reception will be held at Castle Ladyhawke.
The attire is formal/black-tie formal. We ask our guests to wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes or suits with neckties or bowties. Women can check out Rent the Runway for gowns.
There will be valet parking at the Castle. The roads to the Castle are very steep with tight turns. It is best to allow the valet service to park your vehicle. We will also have a transportation service to and from Bear Lake Reserve and the local Hotels so that you can enjoy yourself on our special day.
Yes. Joe and Lindsey will be staying at a lake house rental in Bear Lake Reserve over the weekend following the wedding. We happily encourage our guests to stay the weekend to enjoy the lake and mountains with us.
Of course they will! They will make an appearance for the ceremony, and spend the rest of the night resting before they get to spend the remainder of the weekend with their newlywed mom and dad. Lindsey and Joe selected a lodge that has a fully fenced yard for them to enjoy!
