Shuttle

Our Shuttle is the best option to get to and from the wedding.

We will have a shuttle available to and from Catamaran Resort to Darlington House and also from Darlington House to our After Party. Please update your RSVP here on Zola if you will be taking the shuttle (and how many) so that we can have a large enough van/bus and enough round trips. We will infer based on your RSVP to the after party whether you need the shuttle to go back to the Catamaran or to the After Party (After Party is right across the street from the Catamaran. Shuttle leaves from Catamaran promptly at 3:10PM. Please arrive in the lobby no later than 3:00PM. The Shuttle leaves to return to Catamaran at 8:30PM and to the After Party/Catamaran at 9:30PM. 4 miles from Hotel to Darlington House and less than 15 minute drive. Daily Parking Rate at The Catamaran is roughly $17.

Travel Note

Parking at Darlington House is Valet Parking only

We recommend that you take our shuttle from the Catamaran Resort or use a ride-share (Uber/Lyft), especially if you intend to join us for the After Party. However, if you choose to drive, our venue requires you to use valet parking. Please update your RSVP here on Zola whether you will need to use our valet service.

Travel Note

Driving to The Darlington House

In case you skipped the first two sections, we recommend that you take our Shuttle from The Catamaran Hotel & Resort or book a ride share. If you choose to drive, self parking is not permitted along Olivetas Ave and Valet Parking will be required. The primary route into La Jolla is via La Jolla Parkway, exiting the 5 FWY. Continue straight on La Jolla Village Pkwy and it will turn into Torrey Pines Rd. Torry Pine Rd. ends with a slight left onto Girard Ave. Continue on Girard for about a block and then turn right onto Pearl St. Darlington House is near the corner of Pearl St. and Olivetas Ave.

Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa

The Bride and Groom will be staying here with family and friends. They encourage you to book a room here as well. The promo code is automatically applied by clicking the link. Because this is the tail end of spring break there is a 2 night minimum for the hotel. The code applies to the room rates (approx. 15% off). We recommend getting the rooms sooner than later to avoid room rate increases.

House Or Rental

La Jolla or Pacific Beach AirBNB or VRBO

We encourage you to book via our discount link at Catamaran Resort to be nearer to the Bride and Groom and to use the shuttle. However, there are a lot of great hotel or AirBNB and VRBO rental options nearby. San Diego is a destination city so there are tons of alternatives. The closest areas to the venue are La Jolla and Pacific Beach. There are lots of great hotels downtown (We recommend The Pendry if you want something upscale and romantic) and good budget hotels in Mission Valley and Hotel Circle that are a little further away and less convenient to the venue. La Jolla Cove Hotel & Suites has also provided promo code "CELEBRATE".

Flight

SAN

Book your flights to the San Diego International Airport (SAN). It is a 20-25 minute drive to the Catamaran Resort from the airport.
