If you're not too hung over from last night's party, join us just down the beach from The Catamaran Resort for coffee and breakfast. We'll be hanging out here in the late morning and early afternoon, so join us when you can.
This is the bar that Rachel and Kyle first met. We love the fun Prohibition pharmacy and soda fountain vibe and the amazing drinks. Grab a bite from Fortunate Son or head to Ans Drycleaning for some ice cream after. Or keep the night going and walk down 30th St and hit the bars in North Park.
Right on the edge of Little Italy. Our 2nd date was at the Adam's Avenue location, but we like their pizza and gelato. There's tons of great options here, especially along the Piazza down the street where you can chill with a beer or coffee and people watch.
Its an awesome counter service fresh caught fish counter in PB, and is pretty close to our hotel. We love coming here for fresh fish and have definitely been caught in the raid a few times. We also like El Pascador Fish Market in La Jolla near our venue.
Our favorite brunch spot in town and right in the heart of Little Italy. Check it out on Saturday morning and walk around the Little Italy Farmer's Market while you wait. The wait is usually 2-3 hours and they don't take reservations. But it's worth it. Get here early and wander Little Italy and Waterfront Park or just relax in the Piazza with an Iced Mexican Latte from Frost Me Cafe while you wait.
This is an amazing art deco speakeasy inside Neighborhood which is an excellent diner with awesome burgers. Make a reservation (parties of 2-4 allowed) no later than February but for $55, you are assigned a personal bartender, a glass of champagne, and they serve a 3 course custom drinks to your taste. It's just a few blocks away from the Gaslamp District and 5th Ave.
Our favorite Ice Cream in town. It's also home to their sister restaurant, Pop Pie Co, which has great miniature pot pies and hand pies of various types. Rachel is a bit of a fan girl over their Instagram account because they're also foodies who will travel for a good bite to eat. Wander around University heights, hang out at Park & Rec for a drink, or drinks on the rooftop at Kairoa Brewing, or grab our favorite Thai food from Bahn Thai.
The Balboa has the best burgers in San Diego and the best we've ever had. Stick with the Original and you won't be disappointed. It's a bit of a dive, but worth it. Go for a walk in Balboa Park along 6th Ave and head north to Hillcrest for more bars and cafes.
Old Town definitely isn't overrated and there are tons of fun mexican restaurants with live music and giant margaritas. Casa de Reyes is right in the heart of Old Town and we like to hit all the little shops around it while we wait. You also can't go wrong with Fred's or Cafe Coyote along the main street.
No brainer. It's world famous for a reason. Don't try and see everything in 1 day. If you need tickets, one of the local guests might be able to help out with discounted tickets. So, make friends at the cocktail party on Friday night or at the reception if you want go the morning before the wedding or on Sunday.
Kill some time while waiting for a reservation at Morning Glory on Saturday morning. If you're not waiting for Morning Glory, then make sure to get the Chicken Tikka Masala Samosa from Masala Cottage.
One of many taco shops just like it. Grab a blanket, a mexican coke, a burrito (Carne Asada or California Burrito are standard), and go eat it on the beach.

Solid burgers worth the walk from the Catamaran Resort. It's always ranked in the top 5 burgers in San Diego. We prefer The Balboa, but this is only a 20 minute walk along Mission Bay for a great burger and cold craft beers in San Diego. You can't beat that.
