Yes there is a dress code. Please attend wearing Cocktail Attire. Dress to impress your date. Each event may have more specific recommendations listed. Some help if you're not sure. https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 https://www.zola.com/expert-advice/cocktail-wedding-attire-guide No jeans, baseball caps, or tennis shoes at the Ceremony and Reception please.
There is no self parking along Olivetas Ave permitted by the Darlington House. Valet parking is required if your drive. We recommend instead taking a ride-share, like Uber/Lyft, so you can thoroughly enjoy yourselves and not worry about driving home safely. We have a shuttle from the Catamaran Resort. If you'd like to take the shuttle, please check out our travel section and change your RSVP from the RSVP tab.
Our registry is hosted here on Zola.com. Click the "Registry" tab. https://www.zola.com/wedding/walkercantorwedding/registry
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
TBD. It's San Diego. It'll probably be great. This is an outdoor venue and unless it is raining, we will not have cover. Sunset in San Diego in April is around 7:30PM. https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/la-jolla/92037/daily-weather-forecast/2168186?day=35
We have secured a discount at Catamaran Resort & Spa in Mission Bay where the Bride and Groom will be staying. You can find more details in the Travel page of our site. We recommend staying there to be nearer to other guests and our events.
The city of La Jolla has a strict 10pm noise ordinance, so unfortunately the festivities will end promptly at 10. Last call will be at 9:30 and the venue requires the music to be off on time. Yes! The after party will be at The Shack Bar & Grill. Check out our schedule page for details.
We have hired an excellent photographer and videographer to take photos and video of us and of all of our guests. We respectfully request that you keep your devices away during the ceremony. We'll have a QR code available after the ceremony that lets you share any photos you take with us automatically. But we've limited it to 15 photos so that you can be present as much as possible and to force you to be selective and only take photos for special and unique moments. When we get back from our Honeymoon (May 6th), let us know and we'll try to send you an album with photos that you're in so that you can have for whatever you'd like to do with them.
Please let us know in your RSVP or contact our planner, Kelsey (858) 837-4984 , no later than March 12, 2023 if you need us to make any dietary accommodations.
Our Ceremony and Reception will be adults-only. We love all of your kids and would love to join all of you for a day at the beach or the zoo or go to dinner on any other day. We'd like for you to be able to enjoy the evening without worrying about bed times or anything else. If you're out of town, and worried about childcare options at home, and want to bring the kids to San Diego so they can enjoy Sea World or the beach, or join us at brunch on Sunday, let us know and we can put you in touch with trusted childcare options in San Diego.
So many things. We have a "Things to Do" page on our website to help you find inspiration.
