Things To Do

LA covers a lot of ground, and so does Malibu, so the things on this list cover a pretty wide geographical stretch.

Malibu Pier

23000 California 1, Malibu, CA 90265

Point Dume State Beach

Incredible Beach for surfing or just walking around. If you go at the right time you can see and hear sea lions, dolphins, and harbor seals.

Just go for a drive up and down the coast with the beach at your side!

Topanga Canyon

Lots of great hikes here

If you're staying on the east side, this is our favorite spot for Thai food. Great for vegans and meat eaters alike

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Downtown Los Angeles

700 West 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017
, 213 217-9027

Great place to go see a movie or grab a drink. Decorated with all kinds of old movie posters and kitsch. Each theater has a full service restaurant and reclining leather chairs. Heads up, though, they take their "no texting or talking during the movie" policy very seriously.
