Haldi Ceremony

The Haldi Ceremony is one of the most vibrant and fun-filled pre-wedding rituals, celebrated with love, laughter, and lots of color! Traditionally held separately for the bride and groom, this beautiful ritual involves applying a paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and rose water to their faces and bodies by family and friends.
Turmeric is believed to bring good luck, ward off negativity, and give a natural glow before the wedding.
Guests are welcome to wear any attire they prefer—no strict dress code—though yellow is a traditional favorite for this occasion.
One of the most cherished parts of the ceremony is the Mangala Snanam, where water infused with turmeric is poured over the bride and groom as a blessing. After the ritual, the real fun begins—family and friends take turns playfully splashing water, joining in the joy and creating unforgettable moments. It often turns into a light-hearted water celebration where everyone ends up a little wet and a lot happy!
