Vishal and Andy have created a unique ceremony that incorporates Nepali traditions. The wedding will be officiated by their friend Natalie Lundahl.
We recommend button shirts, blouses, pants, dresses, and dancing shoes! Suits and ties are not required, but certainly wear them if you would like to. Please dress for the Minnesota August weather and also note that the ceremony and reception will all be indoors, but we will also have use of a beautiful outdoor patio space (weather permitting).
The meal will be a buffet of savory Nepali and Indian dishes. There will be a variety of options to accommodate these different dietary restrictions: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free. The dishes in the buffet will be labeled with both the name of the dish as well as the main ingredients, particularly ones that are more common allergens such as nuts.
The Essence Event Center is a visually stunning and historic space. It was built in 1895 and its original purpose was as a repair location for trains that were part of the Northern Pacific Railway. The Essence Event Center is one of the buildings in this area of Saint Paul on the National Register of Historic places. We think that you will fall in love with the open spaces, amazing architecture, and abundant natural light.
