For the welcome dinner, we will offer a charter bus on Friday evening from The Valley Hotel departing at 5PM CST. (The company is called Thrasher Brothers, but we promise their last name is not a harbinger of a bumpy ride.) For the wedding, there will not be transportation to/from the venue, but Ubers abound in Birmingham and are very affordable. Anyone flying in for the wedding will receive an Uber voucher from the bride and groom for use at any point during the weekend.
Yes! We do not expect a gift, but we welcome you checking out our registry. If you don't feel like bringing a gift to the ceremony, we would love a contribution to our honeymoon fund, located on the registry tab!
No, not unless you want one so that you can explore the broader Birmingham region. Everything you’ll need is within walking distance of both hotels, from grocery stores and yoga studios to coffee shops and restaurants. We will provide transportation to/from the welcome dinner, and a small uber voucher to use at any point during the weekend. If you want to do things like the Birmingham Botanical Gardens or the Birmingham Museum of Art, we estimate that these excursions would be no more than a $12 Uber, each way.
Please arrive to the venue by 4:00PM. The ceremony will begin promptly and the doors will be locked to prevent interruption. If an unforeseeable circumstance occurs that causes you to be late, please wait until 5:15pm to enter the venue.
We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting formal, black tie optional dress code for the evening. For men, this means suits, button down shirts and dress pants with a tie or bow tie. For women, this means midi, tea or floor length dresses. I've included some inspo on our "Dress Code" tab if you need further direction. We encourage everyone to dress to impress while keeping in mind the weather. If you're unsure, it's always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed! Wear whatever you would like, but please no white dresses.
Outdoors. Please dress accordingly and bring bug repellent! These Alabama mosquitoes can carry you away.
Indoors. Cocktail hour will be held outside, but the ceremony and reception will be inside.
It will likely already be hot in May in Birmingham, so we recommend that you dress accordingly. For out of town guests, we've included mosquito repellent in your welcome bag; please bring it to the Welcome Dinner, as it will be outside!
Yes! Signature cocktails and a mocktail will be offered during cocktail hour, and once dinner begins it will be beer, wine or seltzer only.
Yes! There's parking behind Clubhouse on Highland, albeit limited. There is also limited street parking available in front of the venue and surrounding streets. To prevent parking problems we recommend carpooling or Ubering. If you do park in the lot, please walk around and enter through the front of the venue.
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section of the website.
We love your children, we really do! However, we respectfully request no little ones. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun weekend with zero responsibilities other than FUN!
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. Please do not take photo or video during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. However, feel free to take as many as you'd like during cocktails and the reception!
Yes! Please reference the "Travel" tab.
Please RSVP no later than March 14, 2026. If you do not RSVP by March 14, we will miss you celebrating with us! Unfortunately, due to the venue requirements, we cannot accept late RSVPs and we will mark any unanswered invites as "declined.” If you haven’t yet RSVP’d, you can do so by visiting the RSVP page before the deadline.
