Yes, you'll need a car to get around. There are no Ubers in town, and taxis are available but hard to come by.
The ceremony is right in town, either driving or walking distance (depending on where you're staying).
Yes! The ceremony will be from 2-3 PM and the reception begins at 4:30 PM. There will be time to freshen up before the party! Might we suggest a cocktail from Au Comptoir or the Woodstock Inn (directly across the street from the church), or a coffee from Mon Vert?
We will be providing buses to and from our hotel blocks. We'll also have a pick-up point in town for those who are staying elsewhere. Please check back for the bus schedule.
We love your kids, and they are absolutely welcome to join the fun at the welcome party (5-8PM on Friday) and ceremony! Please note, after the ceremony our reception will be an adults-only event. We look forward to a night of celebration with you!
Vermont in August is...beautiful! We'll be in the valley, so be prepared for it to get chilly when the sun goes down. The welcome party attire is summer casual and will be outside in a field, so please plan your footwear accordingly. We know that Friday is a travel day for many, so please feel free to come as you are. The reception is cocktail attire and will also be outdoors, so same footwear rules apply!
