My first roommate ever! Kirsten has been a wonderful 'big' sister and I am grateful that I have had her in my life since the moment I was born (even though she requested my parents bring me back to the hospital shortly after my arrival home- another thing Vince and I have in common!). She has always done so well at everything she has tried. From academics to athletics; parenting to baking... I admire her, I love her, and I am so blessed to have her by my side on my wedding day. Dr. Kirsten Fantom lives in Central Illinois just outside of Champaign, IL with her husband Jarrett, daughter Alice and son Declan.

Ben Ostermann

Like many of my Drake friends, Ben and I met at freshman football camp in Des Moines, Iowa. While I was hardly on the practice squad, Ben went on to be the starting quarterback. We were fraternity brothers in the Pike house where we lived our junior and senior years. Over the past 10 years since I returned to Illinois, Ben and I get together to enjoying BBQ, bourbon, cigars and watching the Bears lose. Ben and his lovely wife Liz married in April, 2022, moved to Arlington Heights, and are expecting a baby in the spring!

Aryn Silverberg

My Roommate from my home away (3 towns away) from home! Aryn and I met freshman year of high school and the best way to describe her would be the glue that holds our group of friends together. From day 1, she brought me into the fold, her inner circle. We went to every dance together, every party, every event. We grew up together. She showed me the essence of true friendship. It wouldn’t be right if she wasn't by my side, especially on my wedding day! Aryn lives in Chicago and is extremely artistic and talented. She studied metals in college at University of Illinois and is designing and making Vince and my wedding bands. When I came home from the hospital Nate asked our parents if they would bring me back to the baby store. Fortunately, Nate let me stick around. I was always trying to do whatever my big brother was doing from sports to music. As adults we enjoy spending time together hiking, camping and of course... eating! Nate lives with his wife Dana and their son Wolfie in Champaign, IL.

My Roommate From College! Katie and I met on Day 1 of college. We met by chance, paired up as roommates in Regina Hall at Saint Mary's College. The stars aligned and the rest is history! Katie was apprehensive about being paired up with such a dynamic personality, but I assured her that the dialogue between my father and I in the parking lot of the dorm, on that hot August afternoon in South Bend, was a completely isolated incident and I really am a quiet and subdued woman. That ruse lasted about 2 seconds and I have to tell you that Katie and I had the most fun together and we never looked back. Having Katie in my life has been such a blessing. She is the perfect combination of humble, polite, helpful, kind, smart, and brave. We balance each other out and although we don’t live close, we always pick right back up where we left off when we get together. She lives in Colorado Springs with her husband Tim and their two dogs Chief and Quintin. I am hopeful she will bring Quintin to Chicago this summer so he can finally live with Vince and me.

Warren and I met our freshman year of high school on the Mundelein football team. Warren was the QB and my job was to protect him as an o-linemen, which I did most of the time! We have a close knit group of friends from high school that has stayed together despite spreading out after college. Warren lives in LA and I visit him as frequently as I can. Warren married his wife Holly and her 2 cats in 2022.

Jamie Richards

My Roommate from my 1st real life, real world, adult apartment! I met Jamie in college through Aryn where they were sorority sisters. We bonded over our similar interests- mainly centered around dancing; like growing up in ballet, dance parties to 90's boy bands, and attending live music shows & festivals. With all the laughter and memories, she has added immeasurable energy to our friendship. Jamie is a good one, a true friend. She will drop anything and show up to help a friend in need (even if they just need to go out for a good time or snacks... or both). She has made my life so valuable and joyful, I couldn't imagine not having her by my side providing levity. Jamie lives in Chicago with her two adorable cats- Lenny and Ringo!

Ross Von Minden

Ross "The Boss" and I met my junior year at Drake after Ross transferred from Navy. He quickly found a home in the Pike House and it was not long before we became good friends. We cemented our friendship working at the local Drake watering hole The Dublin where we were paid to have fun with our friends. For one formidable year after college we lived together in downtown Des Moines where we worked through the challenges of figuring out how to "adult". Fortunately we've both done pretty well from there, although our paths parted ways taking Ross to Kansas City where he met his wife Cassie. Ross, Cassie, their son Blake and bulldog Tysyn now live in Camas, WA.

Sammy Marra

My Roommate from the "Big Apple". Samantha "Curls" Marra and I have known each other for many years. We met in College where we were both business majors at Saint Mary's. I must say her parents always had the best ND football tailgates and her family was always so welcoming. Curls and I randomly moved to New York City on the same day, into the same part of the city Astoria, Queens, blocks away from each other. That was when our story really took off and a year later we took the leap and moved into Manhattan together. To the Upper East Side we went. Sammy is the most down to earth, down for anything friend. I couldn’t think of a more calming and crucial person to have by my side on the wedding day! Samantha still lives in New York, down in Battery Park. She can see Lady Liberty from her bed and is a powerful Director at an advertising firm in NYC.

Jarrett Clem

Jarrett and I have the great fortune of marrying into the Fantom family. When the girls are out doing whatever they do, Jarrett and I are free to do what we like to do, primarily watch sports, drink bourbon and beer, and all things golf. Jarrett always brings the party, the boat and the cigars. Jarrett and Kirsten's daughter Alice was born when Vince and Meredith started dating and Declan was born 3 years later in 2020.
