Stunning coastal cliffs, trails, and beaches without the crowds. Enjoy a hike, relax at the beach, or bring a picnic and enjoy the breathtaking views. We highly recommend the Bluff Trail at the end of the park as it’s an easy out and back coastal hike with gorgeous views!

Take a scenic drive up the coast to explore the iconic Hearst Castle. Schedule a tour of the extraordinary estate and then stop by Heart Castle winery for a quick tasting and snack.
Experience: Downtown SLO Farmers' Market
Don’t miss Thursday night Farmers’ Market in downtown San Luis Obispo! Higuera Street shuts down and turns into a vibrant street market with amazing food, local vendors, live music, and a super fun atmosphere. Hours are 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
Hike: Bishop Peak Trail
A favorite local hike with incredible panoramic views. Short but steep - great for a beautiful day outside.
Beach: Avila Beach
Our favorite beach as it is almost ALWAYS sunny in Avila Beach. Laid-back and charming, great for relaxing by the water.
Beach: Morro Bay
Morro Bay offers a beautiful, wide beach with the iconic Morro Rock as its centerpiece. The shoreline stretches for miles, making it great for long walks. Dogs are welcome too. It can be windy and cloudy, so check forecast before heading out!

Delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner spot that the locals love. The line can get long, so get there early!
Sandwiches: High Street | Market & Deli
The most popular sandwich spot in the Central Coast. Delicious, unique sandwiches perfect for a picnic or taking to the beach. They also have a Los Osos location right near Montaña de Oro State Park - perfect for a hike, some ocean views, and then a sandwich and beer at High Street.
Dinner/Lunch Spot: Giuseppe's Cucina Rustica
Giuseppe's is our favorite Italian spot in town and the most popular restaurant in SLO for a reason! We recommend getting there early as they do not take reservations for parties less than 6 and their waitlist fills up quickly. They are great for dinner or lunch!
Dinner/Cocktails: Madonna Inn
Don’t miss the Madonna Inn - famous for its bold pink interiors, quirky charm, and one‑of‑a‑kind atmosphere. Enjoy cocktails, a classic steak dinner, brunch, or head to the dance floor in the evening. Don't forget to get a slice of their famous cake!

Nightcap is an intimate speakeasy-style lounge inside Granada Hotel. With its warm, romantic atmosphere and craft cocktails, its the ideal spot for a late night drink.

Dinner: Nate's on Marsh - A NRL Food Group Restaurant
We absolutely love this spot! It is a converted residence so it is very cozy, but chic. It is always packed, so highly recommend a reservation. Their food, drinks, and desserts are all amazing.
Our Favorite Winery: Le Cuvier Winery and Tasting Room
This is our favorite winery in Paso Robles. Their wines are absolutely delicious, and the food pairings they offer are thoughtfully curated to complement each wine perfectly. The views are stunning too, making the whole experience even more special. If you're planning to go wine tasting, we highly recommend adding this spot to your list!
Winery: DAOU Vineyards
This is arguably the most iconic winery in Paso Robles - and for good reason. The setting is absolutely breathtaking; it feels like you've been transported to another country while tasting. Their wines are outstanding, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. Reservations can fill up months in advance, so I highly recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your spot!
