Victoria and Dave met how many millenials meet nowadays - a dating app! Victoria had just returned from her sabbatical traveling the world, and Dave had just fulfilled his dreams of landing his ideal job and was starting to enjoy some traveling of his own. As a good omen of things to come, their first date was at Steins in Cupertino for craft beer (Dave was jetlagged from Europe, but didn’t let that damper his enthusiasm!). Their second date involved walking the whole west side of San Francisco from Lands End through Golden Gate Park, followed by XLB's at Shanghai Dumpling King - a preview into a future life together of outdoor adventuring and a deep appreciation for Asian food.

We’re getting married on the Big Island of Hawaii! The Big Island is the youngest and the largest of the Hawaiian islands. It matches that massive size with diversity in landscape - it has 10 of the world’s 14 climate zones. Think black sand beaches, volcanos, tropical rainforest, lava fields, and a preserved local culture - it’s got it all!
