Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony will take place in the intimate courtyard of The Bourbon Orleans Hotel. Guests are asked to remain seated after the ceremony in preparation of the Second Line Parade.
Second Line Parade

Immediately after the ceremony join us for a second line parade through the French Quarter! March, dance and swing down the streets on New Orleans to the music of a live brass band leading the way. The parade will start at the ceremony location and return to the same location where the space will have been transformed for the reception. History of the Second Line Wedding parade: One of the most popular traditions during New Orleans weddings is the famous Second Line parade. The wedding second line celebrates the newlyweds as they embark on a new life together. A Brass band leads the bridal party and the guests from the reception venue. All guest (and anyone on the street) who want to join in the celebration, follow behind the band and the newlyweds, dancing and strutting to the lively music with handkerchiefs.
Reception

Following the Ceremony and Second Line we will be returning to the location for a fun filled reception, complete with a delicious dinner of local delicacies, dancing to the curated sounds of one of New Orleans top DJs, Aaron Lane and of course, an amazing cake from La Louisiane bakery!

After the Reception we plan on keeping the party going! No set plans as of now, but when you're in New Orleans the party doesn't stop when the party ends.

Monica Trejo (Victor's Mother) will be hosting an "After Wedding Celebration" for the newlyweds the weekend after Thanksgiving. Since their nuptials are being held in an intimate destination ceremony, everyone thought it would be a fun way to celebrate the happy couple closer to home. This After Wedding Celebration is for everyone, near and far, to join together in the celebration of Victor & Candace's Marriage.
