....there was a guy and a girl living in Manhattan. They met during orientation week of college, and became fast friends. They would see each other almost every day and one night the guy, in all his tall, dark and handsome glory, asked the girl (who had been crushing on him since she first saw him on move-in day at school) on a date. They went to see The Social Network, during which the girl was so nervous that he wasn't trying to put his arm around her, afraid he didn't feel the same way, when in fact he had wanted to but was too nervous to do it himself, fearing the same. After the film they walked back toward the dorms where they lived, he on the 21st floor and her on the 17th. On the way they stopped to get some dinner at the diner across from their school, and a quick dinner, turned into 5 hours of laughter and getting to know one another and when the sun began to rise, they decided it was time to go home, and it was on the elevator ride to their rooms, that they shared their first kiss. Victor and Candace fell in love not soon after that fateful first date, and that first year would be one of the most cherished years in their memories. Over the next six years they would face some of the hardest times, and some of the best times to be had, and because of those, would grow closer and more in love than either of them would have thought on that first date while sitting in that diner as the sun rose...and one day, while strolling through the French Quarter in New Orleans, live music being played on the corner of Dumaine and Royal, Victor got down on one knee, and asked if Candace would be forever his, and she said yes. They then danced as musicians played a song just for them, in the streets of the city that they'd fallen in love with, and on Friday, October 5th 2018 they ask that you join them in that same city, to dance with them on those same streets, and witness as they become husband and wife...and watch as they begin their happily ever after.
