Wedding Party

Josh Mize

Best Man

Josh and I have been friends for more than a decade. We have been on a long list of amazing adventures over the years from backpacking to skydiving. He is hands down the finest chef I know, and is perfecting his craft while serving at Morton's and studying to become a medical professional.

Matt Sisto

Groomsman

Matt and I met my Freshman year of college at CSU Sacramento way back in the fall of 2004. We shared a passion for soccer, and played together for many years. We lived together for 2 years toward the end of college, and have stayed close friends as our lives have progressed. He now lives out in Placerville, and is an excellent mechanic.

Eric Anzelc

Groomsman

I met Eric through Matt back in College. We have a ton of stories together, most of which I hope he doesn't share at the wedding! The day after Eric's wedding, the 3 of us decided to start a brewery. We put in a few years of extremely hard work, but ultimately the brewery didn't get off the ground. The process, however, solidified our friendship and resulted in a plethora of priceless memories. Eric is an amazing electrician, and the father of our lovely flower girl Emma (and the lovely Taylor).

Robbie Rickgauer

Groomsman

Robbie and I met when he moved in next to me around 5 years ago. I'll let him tell the story of the first time we met. We didn't become friends until a few months later. We bumped into each other at the Capitol Brewfest saying that we should grab a drink some time. Robbie came knocking not long after, so we swung by University of Beer (fitting since he's a Proffesor) and found out that we had a lot in common and enjoyed each other's company.

Phil Merrill

Groomsman

Phil and I met in the dorms our first year of college. We lived is Desmond Hall and couldn't have been in rooms that were further apart, but we quickly became close friends. After the dorms, we decided to find an apartment together. More than 15 years later and we're still friends.

Suzanne Rickgauer

Matron of Honor

Suzi and I met when she saved me from some creepy guys at a bar. I guess it’s a good thing they were there, since I can’t imagine my adult life without Suzi by my side! She’s continued to have my back and has been my partner in crime in countless adventures. Coincidentally, she and Vince are from the same city in Canada (Edmonton), which I visited with Suzi before I went there with Vince! Both Vince and I were in her and Robbie's bridal party, and we couldn’t be happier to have them by our sides. Suzi is an incredible friend and an incredible educator, currently working as a Speech Language Pathologist in Sacramento.

Heidi Dutra

Bridesmaid

Heidi is the best sister a girl could ask for! She’s a year older and as a kid, I wanted to be just like her. When she wanted to join a soccer team, I did too. When she wanted to cut her hair, I did too. Now that she’s married, I guess it’s my turn to do it too! She and her husband have recently moved closer, from Sunnyvale, CA to Vacaville, CA. Heidi has an amazing career where she helps people one at a time in her work at an Orthotics and Prosthetics practice.

Alexis Duclos

Bridesmaid

Alexis is easily my longest tenured friend. We met when I moved to Northern California at 11 years old. We became close as we went through middle school, high school, and college together. We overcame the challenges of living as roommates and have remained friends on the other side! She has always pushed me, questioned me, challenged me, and supported me in the best of ways. She will be coming to the wedding from New York City where she's COO of a mental health practice and sports & high performance coaching business

Sarah Fountain

Bridesmaid

Sarah is going to be the one to save the world. We met in the School of International Studies at the University of the Pacific. She speaks English, French, Wolof, some Korean, and some German. She and her husband are currently living in Germany finishing their Masters degrees. We’ve traveled to several countries together for college spring breaks and other vacations, but she easily has me beat as the real international explorer.

Deidre Rose Graham

Bridesmaid

Keep your eyes peeled for this girl to be on the big screen, coming soon! Deidre and I met in University, but we became close when we were roommates for a Spanish language program in Guatemala and again for an Arabic language program in Monterey, CA. Deidre moved from San Francisco to London where she recently completed her Masters in Classical Acting at the world-renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (fun fact: Benedict Cumberbatch is the school’s president!).
