Forest House Lodge

Want everything all in one spot? This is the place to be! The lodge will be the central meeting place for the pre-party, reception, after-party, and most of the lodging. Having everyone together the entire time was a key element in our venue selection, and we're looking forward to having you there both nights! The entire property is exclusively ours, and includes 27 themed rooms which are each amazingly unique! Each pre-booked room ranges from $125-$185 /night and is assigned by the Bride and Groom. There are 5 rooms that sleep more than 2 people. Please reach out to us for special requests. The rooms are located exclusively on the 3rd floor, and are European style. This means every room has its own sink, and some have shared bathrooms. The bar, dining area, photo booth, and fireplace lounge are located on the 2nd floor (street level). The extensive game room, outdoor terrace, and both the bridal salon and groom's quarters, are located on the 1st floor.

Miners Camp

For additional housing options, Miner’s Camp is a collection of ground-level, stand-alone, cabin-style accommodations. No cabin shares a wall with any other cabin. This is the spot where you can take a break and escape the mayhem. Miner's Camp is located just down the main road from Forest House Lodge, about 3 blocks away (5 minute walk, 20 second car ride). Hang out with everyone at Forest House Lodge for as long as you want, and return to Miner's Camp for a peaceful and relaxing break from the action. We wanted everyone to be together for the entirety of the festivities, and the close proximity of Miner's Camp allows everyone to be within walking distance. $130-180 /night with 3-6 guests per cabin. Note: we have a room block reserved. Please contact the bride and groom for reservations.

Transportation to Foresthill

If you are flying in from out of town and need a ride to Foresthill, please contact Heather or Vince. We will help arrange a ride with family members or friends! You're all pretty cool in our books, and the ride will be a great way to get to know other guests and make new friends! Foresthill is a scenic 1 hour drive from Sacramento.

For those traveling via plane, the closest airport is SMF - Sacramento International. If you are traveling from out of town, we will recruit help from our friends and family to pick you up from the airport, get you to Foresthill, and get you back to the airport!

Shuttle

Transportation to Ceremony Site

While there is no 'formal shuttle' we encourage you to create your own carpool with friends and family! It's a short 1.4 mile journey to Grand Sierra Pointe. Sharing rides is highly recommended to ease parking.
