This is a 2-night event! We are envisioning a cabin weekend with all of our friends and family (that’s you!) in one place at the same time, and we’d love to spend as much time with everyone as possible! The rehearsal dinner, meet n’ greet, and Welcome Event festivities will be held starting Thursday April 28th. We’ll have breakfast and events Friday morning, and the wedding ceremony will be in the afternoon (April 29th). Everyone will stay overnight Thursday and Friday in Foresthill (at either Forest House Lodge, or down the street at Miner's Camp), and then we'll all check out Saturday, April 30th.
Forest House Lodge: Room assignments will be completed by the bride and groom, not the lodge. If you have any special requests or need to reserve additional bedding ahead of time (including rollaway beds, sleeping mats, toddler mats, and pack-n-plays), please reach out to Heather and Vince directly. Guests will receive their room keys and pay for accommodations upon arrival at the check-in desk. Miner's Camp: Contact the Bride or Groom if you're interested in staying at Miner's Camp.
On Thursday, dinner will be provided to guests involved in the rehearsal dinner. Otherwise please grab dinner on your own and then join us at Forest House Lodge for an evening of fun! Friday morning, an extensive continental breakfast will be provided to all guests. Lunch will be on your own, however pre-ceremony appetizers will be provided. After the ceremony everyone will return to the Lodge for a gourmet dinner and reception party! Feel free to bring any of your own snacks to your room (note: there are no refrigerators at FHL), or check out the local restaurants in between events. A big, tasty, hot breakfast will be provided Saturday morning before check out to help anyone feeling the effects of the reception!
Games, bridal suite, bedrooms, bar, fireside lounge, photo area complete with goofy props etc. There is a large casino room, lounge, karaoke, and HUGE game room including: Pool Arcade games (Golden Tee, Mortal Kombat II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!) Blackjack Table (non-hosted) Craps Table (non-hosted) Cornhole Ping Pong Shuffle Board Candy Claw Machine
Forest House Lodge has its own bar and their policy on outside alcohol states: “There is absolutely no alcohol allowed in the guest rooms per our liquor license rules. If a guest is found walking in with it, we will confiscate it until the remainder of their stay. A fee may be charged to the bride and groom.” So technically we should say you shouldn't bring any into FHL, however the parking lot is out of our control ;)
No. It is not a good idea to ship ANYTHING to the lodge. There is not an official address at the lodge that can receive mail.
