Travel Note
Easing its border restrictions, Greece is officially ready for Summer! You can download the official Visit Greece app, created by the Greek Government and the Greek Ministry of Tourism, or visit travel.gov.gr (see link below) for all relevant COVID-19 rules and regulations. Wishing you all health and safety, and looking forward to celebrating together!
Travel Note
As the COVID-19 situation is fluid and fast-changing, new orders, regulations, restrictions, and guidance are being issued on a daily basis. To be on the safe side, we’d love to make sure that you’ve taken this into consideration as you make your bookings. That is to say: double check those refund, change and cancellation policies to factor in any unexpected safety precautions, travel limitations and guest restrictions that might be imposed. Also, keep your fingers crossed!
Flight
This is the best place to fly into. From Athens, there's two ways to get to the island. Listen closely to find the travel option that best suits you. And remember: this is the peak summer season so planning ahead is always wise. We cannot stress that enough.
Travel Note
Here's the deal. The fastest way to get from Athens to Paros is to catch a connecting flight. Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air fly out several times a day and the flight takes about 40 minutes. Alternatively, taking a ferry from Athens (Port of Piraeus) to Paros is the most popular option and an experience of its own. Our favorites? Blue Star Ferries or Seajets. There are several ferries leaving every day and the duration of your trip will be 3.5 hours on average.
Rental Car
Pick up a rental car—or a motorbike, or a quad—at the airport or port from a big-name rental company (think Avis, Hertz etc) or go with a local one. Taxis are an option, too. Alternatively, Paros has one of the best road networks in the Cyclades and a pretty great transportation system. Hop on the KTEL bus for a convenient, comfortable and efficient way to get around.
House Or Rental
From Airbnb, to hotel rooms and studios, to bungalows, to villas, there's a lot of pretty amazing accommodation options all around the island. One thing to keep in mind: we are staying in the Drios area so if you want to be nearby us and within walking distance from the festivities you should too. For your convenience and to avoid getting caught in the middle of the peak season rush, please, find a few options below.
