Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. You are free to wear whatever color you love, however we would like to let you know that the wedding party will be dressed in martini/olive green and tan. Feel free to complement or contrast this color palate as you wish. Also note that the ceremony will be taking place on the lawn overlooking the beach, so ladies choose your heels wisely or we recommend some heel protectors for grass!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! If your invitation includes a guest it will explicitly say so. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo and enjoy the day with our favorite people. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Hotel La Jolla. See the travel page for the link to the website or mention the Van Iderstine Wedding if booking by phone. Airbnb is also a great option, feel free to reach out for areas we recommend!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue, departing from Hotel La Jolla. More details will be shared closer to the event date.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the venue. If you wish to drive, please let us know ahead of time so we can secure you a parking permit.
