As Trevor's twin brother, Tristan has always been the best man. From rough housing and wrestling as kids to late night video game sessions across the US, Tristan and Trevor have been best friends all their life. Trevor already fulfilled his best man duties at Tristan's wedding in 2024, and now it is time to repay the favor. Be ready for a party, because when the twins get together, no dance floor (or beer) is safe.

Maid of Honor
Vasudha was probably Vani's favorite part of her childhood. Although she no longer has to help Vani sneak in to the house late at night, whenever Vani needs anything, she knows she can count on Vasudha. Vani may not express it often, but she loves Vasudha with all her heart and didn't have to think twice about making Vasudha the Maid of Honor.
Elias Sebti

Elias has been Trevor's friend for over five years after sharing the pains of Materials 200A and the first year of grad school. As Trevor's confidant, surfing buddy, belayer, roommate, and outdoor explorer, Elias is truly one of Trevor's great friends. Now that Elias is working in the Bay Area, Trevor looks forward to many more adventures in the near future!
Ayoni Tulsyan

Ayoni and Vani go wayyy back! They have been inseparable since they were 8-9 years old. They have not only helped each other survive, but have also thrived together, both during their teenage years and amid the challenges of adulthood. One of Vani's fondest memories of their friendship is passionately making handmade (very elaborate) cards together for their friends. Even though they are in a long distance friendship, they never fail to be there for each other and of course, gossip together!
Alex Perkins
Groomsman
Alex and Trevor met at the University of Minnesota through the rowing team during their first year. They shared the struggles of the Materials Science and Engineering program and could be found taking alternating sleeping breaks where they would share many pots of coffee while they worked on homework together. Now, Trevor and Alex share random EDM songs (with less than 1,000 listeners), attend music festivals together, and play video games. If you hear a conversation between these two, it may sound like a jumble random words, but trust that both Trevor and Alex understand what is happening (or so they say).
Urvi Singhania
Bridesmaid
Urvi and Vani have been friends since they were silly teenagers. Growing up, Urvi's house was a second home to Vani where they would play basketball, prep for exams, and gossip for hours. Vani and Urvi share a last name and are nothing less than soul sisters (though they aren't actually related). Vani knows she can trust Urvi to keep her calm and level headed during all of the wedding festivities.
Matt Hoffman
Groomsman
Matt is one of Trevor's great friends from the University of Minnesota. The two of them share a common love of sports, video games, and music festivals. Matt was also Trevor's first climbing partner, and the two of them got to take many hiking, climbing, and outdoorsy trips during the >9 years they've known each other. The best trip was the road trip to move Trevor from Minnesota to California. Matt and Trevor got to explore a lot of National Parks as well as see a pool party DJ session in Las Vegas.
Shannon Heinrich
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Vani have known each other since day 0 of grad school. It did not take them long to bond over wine, reality TV, and being strong women in science. Shannon and Vani also ended up rooming together for 3 years and have seen each other through it all. Shannon can probably best narrate the story of when Vani met Trevor. Shannon and Vani's journey from being friends to roommates to eventually family, has been truly incredible.
Frank Haney
Groomsman
Frank and Trevor became friends through the Minnesota rowing team and lived together for 2 years. Now, Frank is a fellow Californian, and Trevor is excited for the trips to San Diego to visit him and Michaela. Much like the rest of the list, Frank and Trevor share a common love of EDM music festivals and video games. Frank and Michaela's love of travel makes it easy to find an excuse to see them.
Greta Koumarianou

Vani and Greta are like sisters. They met in grad school and became close friends very quickly. From coffee dates to hosting fun parties, Vani and Greta spent most weekends together. Vani loves going on trips with Greta, especially the ones that involve shopping. This duo never has a dull moment together, so keep the shots away from them!
John Haney
Groomsman
Trevor met John a few times at the University of Minnesota through Frank, but it wasn't until the last few years that Trevor and John became good friends. John has been a consistent video gamer. John was a great supporter at Trevor's PhD defense (flying out to Santa Barbara from Wisconsin), and the consistent weekly conversations have moved John from "Frank's brother" to Trevor's good friend.
Sophia Bailey
Bridesmaid
Vani and Sophia met in the first year of grad school, but it wasn't until the second year that they became truly great friends through supporting each other as strong independent women. They bonded over their love for food, which, to this day, takes them on many adventures for new restaurants all over the Bay Area. Now that Sophia has become so close to both Vani and Trevor, they had to fight over which side of the bridal party Sophia would be on (it seems Vani won).
Vignesh Siva
Usher
Vani and Viggy have been friends since the first year at Purdue. During their college days, they could either be found eating, "studying" science, or doing a fountain run. They never miss an opportunity to take a trip together. Vani can't wait to see Viggy dance in public at the wedding. Viggy's exceptional navigation skills will make it so you don't get lost at the wedding (what a great pick for an Usher).
Rohan Agarwal
Usher
Vani and Rohan have been friends since they were teenagers. Their favorite thing to do together is drink chai and eat puchka (pani puri). One of Vani's fondest memories with Rohan is their trip to Kodai in 2021. Even though Rohan is in a totally different time zone, Vani knows that he is always there for her when she calls.
Michaela Minarik
Ring Bearer/Luna Captain
Michaela is one of Trevor's great friends (and Vani's now too). They met in undergrad through her husband Frank. Michaela was always spending time at the 301 house in Minneapolis and Trevor and Michaela quickly became friends. Trevor and Michaela love to go to music festivals (with about 1/2 of the groomsmen too). Now that Frank and Michaela live in California, Trevor, Vani, Frank, and Michaela should be seeing a lot more of each other! Michaela is Vani and Trevor's ring bearer alongside Luna.
Muskan Jain
Officiant
Muskan is possibly the most important person of the day (after Trevor, Vani, and Luna of course). As Vani's cousin, she was one of the first family members to meet (and approve) of Trevor. She has a very special spot in Vani's heart, and with the powers vested in her by the State of California, she will officiate Trevor and Vani's big day. (Shoutout to online officiant certifications).
