Our wedding will be celebrated on the date that it is planned for, August 7, 2020.
It is now mandatory in the state of Michigan to wear a mask in public gathering spaces (exemptions include medical conditions that prevent mask-wearing and children under 5 years old). This includes wearing a mask at the ceremony and reception. Masks are NOT expected to be worn while eating, drinking, or social distancing outside. Extra masks will be on hand if anyone forgets theirs. At the ceremony, everyone will be social distanced in the pews, with families together. Appetizers at the cocktail hour will be passed out by staff versus being self-serve. The buffet dinner will now be served by staff versus self-serve as well. Each table will be dismissed by venue staff, one-by-one. PLEASE notify Cale or Vanessa if you or any members of your household have developed any COVID-related symptoms, have been tested for COVID, or have been exposed to COVID. We will also have hand sanitizer readily available. The safety and health of our guests are very important to us.
Both! Dinner and dancing will be indoors, but there is a large outdoor area where you will find the bar, cocktail tables, bench swings, a fire pit, and designated smoking area.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, let us know in a timely fashion.
Yes! BlueBridge Event Centre has a spacious parking lot. In the event that you cannot safely drive back to the place you are staying, you are allowed to park your car over night. We ask that all guests arrive and leave our venue safely, so please be responsible and plan your ride in advance.
We would love to have your children join us for our special day. If you would like to bring your child/children to the wedding ceremony and/or reception, please contact Cale or Vanessa to discuss options. Unfortunately, there is not a kids meal option with our caterer.
Nowhere! We will be having a buffet dinner at the wedding.
