Morgan is Jamie’s youngest sister, and the only one who still lives in Michigan. We have grown much closer over the last few years, especially after I moved back home to Michigan.

Emilie is Steve’s middle child and only daughter. She holds a special place in Steve’s heart and he is always talking about what a sweet person she is. She works with adults with special needs and I am so impressed with the care and compassion that she has for them.

Lexi Vandenberg

Lexi is Steve’s daughter-in-law, wife of his eldest son Andrew, and mother to Benjamin and Charlotte. I have been impressed by her heart for animals, and especially how much she loves her kids.

Steve met Jason working at Prince Corp, assembling Jeep Cherokee door panels, when they were in their twenties. They recently reconnected and have grown closer the last few years. He always has a ready smile and an encouraging word (though it may include some swearing 😆)

Andrew Vandenberg

Andrew is Steve’s eldest son. He cares deeply for his family. He and Steve share a special bond over football and Steve is often spending time watching games with Andrew and his grand kids.

Lance Vandenberg

Lance is the youngest of Steve’s kids. He is very musically gifted and enjoys playing guitar. Steve often talks about having Lance at home with him while he would make dinner, and how much he enjoyed listening to Lance riff on the guitar while he would cook dinner.

Benjamin Vandenberg

Ben is Steve’s grandson. He loves playing catch with his dad and papa.

Charlotte is Steve’s granddaughter. She is a bit shy at first but when she comes out of her shell she is very gregarious and funny.
