Question

Why the Vineyard?

Answer

Martha's Vineyard is a very special place for each of us, and was one of the first things we bonded over when we began dating. Greg's family has deep ties with the island and he has spent the majority of his life's summers taking in its natural beauty and beaches. Ashley's paternal side is from the island and part of the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe. As our relationship has grown, we have shared our special memories, places, and spaces on the island with each other. We also have created so many new memories here together. We hope to share our mutual love with all our friends, family, & guests on what was once the back lawn of Ashley's great-great grandfather's old home.

Question

How to get to & around the Island?

Answer

We understand that traveling to & around Martha's Vineyard is a bit more complicated than the average venue, so we have made an extensive breakdown of information in the "Travel" section. There, you can find information on how to get to the island, how to get around the island, and what you can expect while here. While you do not need your own vehicle for the wedding weekend, we highly recommend researching a little bit into transportation around the island if you are unfamiliar. The majority of our weekend events will take place up-island (the western part of the island which is more remote & away from the ferry towns) and require a little more logistics.

Question

Is Parking available at the venue?

Answer

The public town parking lot is available for guests and wedding staff. There is a cleared path from the parking lot to the Homestead property.

Question

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

Although we love your children, we have extended invitations only to the adults listed on the invitation. We hope you understand and use the wedding evening as an opportunity to enjoy a night out with your significant other! If you’re planning on bringing your children to the island for the weekend and need a babysitter, some excellent resources are: Summer Sitters (https://www.summersitters.com), MV Community Services (https://www.mvcommunityservices.org/services/youth-family-services/childcare/local-childcare-directory/) or your hotel may be able to help. If you’re planning to bring your (fur) baby and looking for care, we recommend: Al Fresco Trails (https://alfrescotails.com)

Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

Due to limited space at the wedding, we are only able to accommodate those who are formally noted on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, it will be noted on the front of your invitation when it arrives. Thank you for understanding!
