November 23, 2024

Monterrey, Mexico

Once upon a time in Philadelphia, a boy and a girl met...

They both swiped right on Hinge. They went on a date. They liked each other. They became an official couple. They moved in together 👀. They bought a house in Phoenix. Now they are getting married.

Kyle knew Vale was the one when...

She slurped soup on their first date. It was delicious. Her smile always makes him smile. She said "si" to his graffiti art ask of "quieres ser mi novia?". She did not panic when they were confronted by a bear in the wilderness. He was quaking with fear and adrenaline. She turned her cheek to him when he went in for their first kiss. The rejection made him want to see her more. She directed Home Depot employees on how to cut the wood she had marked with her measurements to create our desk and shelving in Philadelphia. He was... "advising"! Her family gave him his "Kylito" Rayados jersey. She hugged him as he cried because they were moving away from Philadelphia. She sold jars of salsa with him at pop up shops for Salsa Susana and supported his entrepreneurial dreams. He can't help but love her every single second, of every single minute, of every single day.

Vale knew Kyle was the one when...

Kyle ate the frozen sandwiches that were hard like rocks she made for their hiking date. Kyle proudly showed her his monkey socks after their "Painting with a Twist" date - which she loves when she sees him wear them now. Kyle went on a museum date after just getting off of an early morning bus ride from visiting friends in NYC - something she did not know about until much later. He spent hours on a tennis court from teaching her how to prepare with a hop (split step) from her ready position to following through on her swing. He always runs around the car, as fast as his old knees will take him, to make sure he opens the door for her. He supports all of her new project ideas, even if she still hasn't finished the previous ones. He got cat-called on the streets of Philly for showing off his amazing legs in short-shorts in the winter. He would carry all of their groceries on their 15 minute walk home from the grocery store saying, "I like the workout" after she asked if he needed some help. He knew more vocabulary in Spanish than she did, yet is always humble and eager to improve his pronunciation when she corrects him. He tells her he loves her every day, many times - and it always makes her heart happy.
