Can we join the ceremony remotely?

Answer

YesISH. Having been abroad during Covid, we know what a blessing Zoom weddings are! However, our ceremony is going to be very intimate to allow me and Addie time to focus on one another. That said, we're planning to have a time for people to say "hello!" while we're getting ready! Say hello to us via Zoom at a time that is convenient for you!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Due to our experiences during the pandemic, we won't be hosting any large gatherings before or after the wedding. However, we'd love to invite you over for a meal once we get settled into our new place in DFW!

Can I get photos for my fridge?

Answer

YES PLEASE! We have hired a photographer for our ceremony and would love to send you some copies of the photos! Message Valerie and she'll send you some when they are available.

Are you changing your names?

Answer

YesISH. Valerie will be keeping her name, but Adeline will be officially joining the Merrick family. Yay!

Can we buy you something for your house?

Answer

Yes please! We left most of our things in Korea since we planned to return, so we're building our new home here from scratch! If you see something on our registery (above) but you have an extra one in your house, or know a second-hand option, we'd love that even more! We both value eco-friendly living, and prefer used goods over new ones. :) Thanks so much for helping us make our house a home!

Where are your kitty babies?

Answer

Our babies, Jessie and Jamie, are with Chris in South Korea. Since we planned to go back, we didn't want them to experience international travel twice! However, they will be joining us in September once we're settled into our new place. Come play with us!
