Alex and I recognize what a huge ask it is for some of our family and friends to travel so far for our big day. We want to thank you so much for your time and consideration in advance, whether you are able to attend or not! Please take a moment to read through this Travel section, as it contains some helpful information. We look forward to celebrating with you all, near or far!

Flight

Jose Maria Cordova International Airport

MDE- Medellin Airport is the closest airport to our venue and offers international flights. It is about 45 minutes away from the city center, and around 30 minutes from our venue and recommended lodging area. Booking your flights a few months in advance is usually the best way to find lower fares.

House Or Rental

Airbnb & Booking.com

We highly recommend using Airbnb to book a place to stay. We suggest staying within the circle on the map above, specifically within the neighborhoods of El Poblado, Envigado, and Alto de Palmas, as these areas are close to our venue and are some of the most tourist-friendly neighborhoods in the city. Just an FYI, the center of El Poblado can get noisy at night, as there are many restaurants and bars nearby. The bride and groom and their respective families will be staying in El Poblado. If you prefer a hotel, we recommend browsing options on Booking.com, many hotels offer transportation to and from the airport as well as other helpful tourist services. Finally, we encourage rooming with friends or family who will be attending to help divide costs!

Driving in the city can get hectic, that's why we recommend using Uber or Cabify to get to and from the airport and venue. When exploring the city, the Metro will likely be the most effective way to get around, though Uber/Cabify are also great options. Safety Tips

We’re excited for everyone to experience Medellín! As with visiting any major city, staying aware of your surroundings and taking a few precautions will help ensure you have an enjoyable trip. We recommend avoiding wearing expensive jewelry or accessories while out and keeping phones and valuables secure and out of sight. Pickpocketing can happen in busy areas, so keeping bags zipped and valuables tucked away is a good idea. For getting around, rideshare apps like Uber are usually the easiest options. If you're out at night, it’s best to stick to well-populated areas and travel with friends. Overall, Medellín is a wonderful city with incredible food, culture, and people, and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it!
