Please let us know if you can make it or not by September 30, 2018 at the latest.
You can click the "Registry" tab at the top of this page, or you can search for our registry on Amazon using Andrew's last name.
Semiformal or "dressy casual." For men: a suit and tie, or a collared shirt and dress pants. For women: a cocktail dress, or a nice top with a skirt or dress pants. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
We ask that you arrive around 10:30 a.m. so that we'll be able to start the ceremony promptly at 11 a.m. Parking at the venue is tight, so we recommend that you either carpool or use the Uber or Lyft app to get there.
We ask that you don't take photos at the ceremony itself - we've hired a professional photographer for that, and we'll happily share those photos with you (and post on social media) after the wedding. However, we encourage you to take photos at the reception! If you're on social media, please post with the hashtag #ValenskiVows to help us remember our special day.
Right after the ceremony, the wedding party (and the bride and groom's families) will break for wedding photos for two hours. During that two hours, you can hang out at the brewery, grab lunch, head back to your accommodations to freshen up, or whatever you'd like! You can click the "Schedule" tab above for a detailed itinerary with times and locations, or check out the "Things To Do" tab for restaurant recommendations. Wherever you go, know that parking can be tight. We recommend carpooling (with a designated driver!) or using the Uber or Lyft app to get from point A to point B.
We're not hosting a sit-down meal of any kind, but we'll have a large variety of hors d'oeuvres and desserts for you to enjoy throughout the reception. If you'd like to get lunch somewhere during our photo break between the ceremony and the reception, you can click the "Things to Do" tab above for restaurant recommendations.
Once we reach the reception, your drinks are on us! The venue serves beer, wine, cider, champagne, coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
The reception will end at 6 p.m. At that point, you can do whatever you'd like! If you're tired, you can head back to your accommodations. You can also leave to grab dinner. Or, you can join the wedding party as we walk from bar to bar in the NoDa neighborhood, where the reception is being hosted. This informal "bar crawl" is by no means mandatory, but all are welcome!
