EMERALD BAY HIKE - FRIDAY 5/3 1:00 - 4:00 - RAIN OR SHINE We will be hiking at Emerald Bay State Park, one of California's special gems. Our plan is to hike the Vikingsholm Trail down to the Rubicon Trail, with a detour to see the Vikingsholm Castle and Lower Eagle Fall if trail conditions permit. This is a very popular destination and parking on weekends is near impossible. Therefore, we have arranged for shuttle transportation. Do not attempt to drive your own car as you will likely not find parking. Meet: Meet the shuttles at the parking lot between the Edgewood Tahoe hotel and Edgewood Lodge and Golf Course at 12:50. Departure: 1:00 pm sharp from Edgewood Lodge parking area Return: Shuttles will depart from the Vikingsholm parking lot at 3:30 sharp, returning to the Edgewood Lodge at 4:00. Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE ALEWORX IN STATELINE, IT IS IN SOUTH LAKE TAHOE If you're looking to find somewhere to hang and get to meet our other guests, come visit Lake Tahoe AleWorX! It's a cool concept where you can give the bar your card, they'll give you a bracelet, and you can get your own beer from the tap. They charge by the ounce ($0.50), so you can try all of their beers or find your favorite and stick to that! **Please note that this is the AleWorX in South Lake Tahoe, and not the one in Stateline**
4:00 pm
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
There is parking at the venue if you are driving.
