Our wedding is a joyful celebration of our love and the blending of our rich cultures! Day one is dedicated to the beauty and vibrancy of Nigerian traditions, where we will honor our heritage through a traditional marriage ceremony and rites. On day two, we’ll celebrate with a church ceremony and reception, embracing the American wedding style. We can’t wait to share both these meaningful moments with you!
On August 29th, events will be outdoors. On August 30th, the church ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. California’s weather in August is absolutely perfect, and we want to take full advantage of the sunny skies and natural beauty for our special day. Think warm breezes, gorgeous views, and a day filled with love and laughter under the open sky!
Please RSVP by July 19, 2025 11:59 PM PST—we’d love to hear from you! Your response helps us finalize all the special details to make this celebration unforgettable. Please RSVP via Greenvelope. Text RSVPs will not be acceptable.
While we would have loved to celebrate with you, once the RSVP deadline has passed, any unanswered RSVPs will be marked as a “No.” It’s essential for us to provide a final guest count to our vendors by the cutoff date to ensure everything runs smoothly. Thank you for understanding!
If you’d like to bring a plus-one, please let us know when you RSVP! Unfortunately, if your plus-one is not included in your RSVP, we won’t be able to accommodate them on the day of the wedding. We truly appreciate your cooperation in helping us make the day seamless for everyone.
We adore your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you can enjoy a fun and relaxing time with us as we celebrate this special occasion!

We would love for our guests to wear their Asoebi on the traditional Nigerian wedding day on August 29th. However, if you prefer, feel free to wear it on August 30th during the Christian American wedding celebration. Your presence and participation mean the world to us! We have also prepared an Asoebi Guide for our guests, who are doing this for the first time, see our our Asoebi page for more info. If you have any further questions about this process, feel free to reach out to Simply Asoebi at contact@simplyasoebi.com.
Please know that you are NOT obligated to purchase the Asoebi. The couple makes no profit from Asoebi sales, and your choice of attire is completely up to you. Today, Asoebi has become a fun way to honor and acknowledge our Nigerian culture as well as a way to express unity and support. You are welcome to wear something you already have if that’s more comfortable or convenient. What truly matters to us is your presence and sharing this special moment together! We have also prepared an Asoebi Guide for our guests, who are doing this for the first time, see our our Asoebi page for more info. If you have any further questions about this process, feel free to reach out to Simply Asoebi at contact@simplyasoebi.com.

Please plan to arrive at the time indicated on your invitation. We kindly request that everyone be punctual—no “African time,” as we want to ensure everything flows smoothly and you don’t miss a moment of the celebration!
The church wedding ceremony will be an unplugged event at the bride and groom's request. We invite you to fully immerse yourself in the moment and leave the photography to the professionals. For all other events, feel free to snap as many photos and videos as your heart desires!
If your plans change and you’re unable to attend, please update your RSVP accordingly. Your prompt update is greatly appreciated as it helps us finalize our guest list and arrangements.
