Commitment Ceremony

Leave the stilettos and ball gowns at home and pull out those bedazzled overalls, sear sucker suits, and colorful print maxis! Let yourself lean towards linen. Throw on those short shorts and dress em up with that studded belt or sparkle sandals. Dress to be comfortable, to feel flirty and fun, and to get down.
The ceremony (and much of the event) will be outdoors.
Cocktails, Lawn Games & Wandering
4:00 pm
Enjoy cocktails & appetizers and/or take a walk around the grounds.
Dinner & Entertainment
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
You are not being asked if you want chicken or steak (or the always-pasta-"vegetarian option") because dinner is communal, and family-style. Entertainment immediately following.
Bonfire & Bourbon
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Time to throw on those flip flops and hoodies! (but seriously, it can get chilly on the Mountain once the sun goes does, so bring a layer!)
Wind down with us around a bonfire. If you play something acoustic, please bring it!
The Upsucker

Head back to the wedding party 'compound' for "the upsucker" - the traditional "one last drink" at the 2nd location that is always fun and usually a mistake! (this term actually references the german "absacker" meaning "nightcap" or "one for the road," but a 20-something renee heard "upsucker" and... it stuck.)

Join us at our home for carbs and caffeine in our backyard before leaving town! We'll bring the bagels & OJ, you bring the coffee. (Bear and Fox Provisions is two doors down and lovely.) Street parking in front on Main Street and in back on Fromer Street. In the event that it rains, we'll welcome folks on our front porch and in our home! Pets welcome.
