Below I have listed some suggestions for areas that would be great lodging options if you are looking at using Airbnb/Vrbo. I have also listed multiple hotel options in those same areas. If you’re planning to travel, please keep in mind that the FIFA World Cup will be happening in Seattle around the same time as the wedding. The airport and hotels may be busier than usual, so we recommend looking into flights and lodging sooner rather than later! And if you’re a soccer fan, it could be a fun opportunity to try and catch a game while you’re in town! :)

Flight

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

If you will be traveling- SeaTac is the most convenient airport that you can use. It is about 30 miles north of where the wedding will be.

Travel Note

Airbnb and Vrbo

If you are interested, there are plenty of amazing options for lodging that can be found on Airbnb and Vrbo! If you want to be close to the venue, I would suggest looking for places in Lake Tapps or Bonney Lake area. These areas are so beautiful because of the closer proximity to Mt. Rainier as well as the lake. Other areas that are close to Bonney Lake would be Sumner and Puyallup (where Emma grew up!). Both are cute smaller towns. Tacoma is another amazing option that is about 30 minutes west of the venue. Tacoma is special because it is right on the Puget Sound and there is so much to do. It is a great option if you want to be close to the Pacific ocean and do some sight seeing!
