A very nice oceanfront hotel about 30 minutes from our venue and close to some of our favorite OBX restaurants and activities. Amenities include free parking, free WiFi, both an indoor and an outdoor pool, a lovely patio with a tiki bar, and a restaurant with great breakfast options.

Rental House/Condo Options for the Week

If you would prefer to rent a beach house or condo instead of staying in a hotel, you have many options, though they do fill up fast. Here's a great website with a list of vacation rental companies at the Outer Banks to help you find a place to stay. We recommend looking in Manteo or Nags Head if you can as they are closest to the venue. Keep in mind that many houses only offer a week-long rental, but that could be an excellent way to pair a beach vacation with our wedding.

Flight

Norfolk International Airport (ORF)

If you would prefer to fly to North Carolina, Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Virginia, is the closest major airport to the Outer Banks. From there, it is about a 2 hour drive to get to Manteo. Another option is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) which is about a 3.5 hour drive to Manteo.

The closest Amtrak station is Rocky Mount Station in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, about a 2 hour drive from Manteo.
