January 20th, 2017..a Mormon and a catholic walked into a bar.... When I joined “Farmer’s Meat”.com I was matched up with Nadine. Her online profile stated that she had a son the same age as Kennedy, loved the outdoors, camping, going to sporting events and scouting! Nadine agreed to meet at a local restaurant accompanied by some of her friends (in case I turned out to be a serial killer). We immediately hit it off. Although we came from very different backgrounds, we found that our goals and aspirations in life were very similar. Although we have only been dating over a year we have been able to share some amazing experiences together. We have been to the Brewers, Packers, Bucks and Badgers games. We have been camping with all the kids, visited the waterparks at the Dells, Ziplined, camped, scouting events, haunted houses, kid’s sporting events, work events, fishing, hiking, bonfires, tailgating, concerts, boating, Vegas, Zion’s National Park, home improvement, costume parties and more bonfires! Nadine is very determined, hard-working and a fantastic mom. She is a great cook and loves to clean! My kids absolutely love her and the boys are always asking if they can go over to her house. Nadine is very outgoing and is always making new friends, talking to complete strangers everywhere we go. She loves our 5 children and takes an interest in everything they do. She put herself through college and has been able to provide a good life for her and her son. She is able to make a house into a home. Nadine challenges me and causes me to be a better father and better person. She is honest to the core, has morals and is the person that I want to spend my life with (even though she doesn’t like comedies!).

After the plethora of first dates I had been on in the past 8 years, I was definitely not feeling optimistic when I agreed to meet Tyler. I think we hit it off pretty well from the start having numerous things in common. I could hear the accent right away and when I heard he was from Salt Lake I was definitely intrigued! I do admit when Tyler told me of his FOUR kids I was nervous but thought I'll enjoy his company and if anything gain another good friend. I had been through this same scenario so many times; a few dates and long conversations but zero substance. Tyler had it all not to mention these four kids I was so skeptical about were everything I was missing in my life. So here we are, just one short year later getting ready to share forever together. Did I ever dream of being married? Never. I was not the little girl planning my wedding day and picking out my dress prior to even being engaged. I loved my life, little did I know it could be better. I had wanted more children for the past 9 long years. I got everything I didn't know I wanted or could handle. Tyler and I are so similar, we share the same family values, have goals and he truly cares about my Sawyer. We have so much to still learn about each other and so many milestones to meet as a couple and we are so excited to start this new life. Tyler is the most amazing human being I have ever known. I hope everyone I care about can get to know him better, he spreads happiness everywhere he goes
