Question

When does the shuttle leave?

Answer

Shuttle service will be available from the SpringHill Suites by Marriott to the venue before the ceremony and back to the hotel after the reception. The shuttle will begin loading 3:40pm and will leave the hotel at 4pm to take guests to the venue. Another shuttle will leave the venue shortly after the end of the reception at 10:30pm to take guests back to the hotel.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, which means we ask that all guests turn off and put away their cellphones during the ceremony. We have incredible photographers and videographers who will be capturing every moment (at a way higher quality than your phone will capture, I promise!). We will be sharing the photos and video from the ceremony with all of the guests.

Can I take pictures during the reception?

Answer

Yes! After the first, mother/son, and father/daughter dances you are welcome to take pictures and videos. We only ask that any video of Tyler dancing not be used as blackmail later on. There will also be a photo booth in the reception hall. Feel free to take as many photo booth pictures as you'd like.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

All guests should arrive in cocktail attire. Don't worry, you'll look great!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors on The Arbors' lawn, followed by a cocktail hour on the covered patio and an indoor reception.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at The Arbors with handicap spots available as well. When you arrive at the venue, there will be signs guiding you to our parking lot. Don't forget, if you are staying at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, shuttle service will be provided to and from the venue.

What is the weather like in June?

Answer

June temperatures in the Charlotte area can vary but generally temperatures average a high of 85 degrees during the day and a low of 63 degrees at night.
