Downtown Sausalito has tons of bars, restaurants, and chicy touristy stores to explore. You can get a fabulous view of the city on a clear day. Here are a few of our favs: Bar Bocce, Barrel House Tavern, No Name Bar, and Lappert's Ice Cream.

San Francisco

San Francisco, CA

You can't go wrong with a day trip to San Francisco. They city has a ton to explore. There is a ferry that goes from Larkspur Landing which is in Marin (walkable from the Marriott and 5min uber from Best Western) to San Francisco. Wine taste in the vineyard! https://wellingtoncellars.com Sebastopol The Barlow – a cool marketplace with several tasting rooms, especially for Pinot Noir: MacPhail, LaFolette are favorites, plus fun places for snacks. http://thebarlow.net. Hartford Family: Beautiful winery in the countryside Downtown Healdsburg There is a charming plaza downtown with tasting rooms about every 10 feet. Favorites include: Banshee, Stonestreet, Williamson (free tasting with a food pairing!) and Mueller (good Pinot Noir). Dry Creek Valley Ferrari Carano: Large, beautiful grounds, gorgeous winery. Quivira Winery: They have a pig in back you can go visit. Preston Farm and Winery: Great picnic spot. Bella Vineyards: Taste in the wine caves. Famous for their Zinfandel. Alexander Valley Soda Rock, Stonestreet, Robert Young, Medlock Ames.

Get some last minute shopping done and/or grab a drink and some grub. Best part is this outdoor mall is walkable from the Best Western. Fieldwork Brewing Co (pizza/italian), Flores (mexican), Il Fornaio (sit-down itlian, nicer spot), Pig in a Pickle (BBQ), and more.
