Welcome, family and friends! We’re excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Our wedding website is here to help you plan your trip for our big day. We've provided travel instructions, hotel and transportation accommodations, local recs and the schedule for our wedding weekend. Oh, and don't forget to RSVP for all 3 events: the Welcome Party, Ceremony, and Sunday Send Off. We can’t wait to see you in the Bay Area, and thank you for all your love and support! The countdown is officially on to August 17, 2024. See you then! Love, Kate and Tyler
Our friends threw a holiday party in December of 2018. Tyler wore his "I'll Be Back" melting snowman sweater. Kate had her red grandma sweater vest on with hand sewn Christmas trees and snowmen - truly ugly. We were the only two guests wearing ugly Christmas sweaters so, naturally we had to talk to each other. Sparks were flying and we decided to go out on a date later that week. Our first date was at Jules Mae Saloon followed by axe throwing (yes..axe throwing) where Kate proceeded to beat Tyler. He says this is when he knew Kate was the real deal. Since then, it has been adventure after adventure. We moved into our first apartment in Capitol Hill and spent many nights patio hanging and exploring beautiful Seattle. We got our mini Aussie, Scout, who made everything even better. Fast forward to June 2022, we moved to Winston-Salem, NC so Kate could attend the PA program at Wake Forest University. In addition to working, Tyler made time to return to his first love: biking. Being so far away from friends and family, we continued to learn how to love and support each other. In July 2022, we got engaged in Charleston, SC by the famous pineapple fountain. Each of you have been such an important piece of our story. We are so lucky to have supportive, loving, cool, and fun friends and family. We can't wait to celebrate BIG with you all August 17! Love, Kate and Tyler
