What do Nashville and Greece have in common? Good gyros (Sam's Kabab Gyro in Bellevue - three thumbs way up) and the Parthenon. This is a beautiful park and museum in Midtown Nashville - grab a book, an iced latte from Three Brothers Coffee across the street, and enjoy the summer sunshine!
Three Brothers Coffee
A great blend of cozy and modern, check out Three Brothers Coffee for one of the best chai tea lattes in Nashville (in the bride's humble opinion). Our coffee snob sources also report that the groom considers their lattes "decent". So if you like caffeine, there you have it!
The Flying Saucer
If you like international beer, local beer, draught beer, bottled beer, craft beer, basic beer, honestly ANY kind of beer, it BEER-hooves you to stop in to the Flying Saucer. Overwhelmed by the selection of awesomeness? Try the groom's favorite local brewery: Bearded Iris. Bonus points if you can catch one of their rambunctious trivia nights! (Pro Tip: Get there early)
Mellow Mushroom
If you're gonna experience the iconic honky-tonks of Broadway downtown, one of the bride's favorite to start with is the Mellow Mushroom. It's 3 floors of live music (each floor is a different band), with a rooftop view of downtown that can't be beat. We'd recommend taking an Uber/Lyft, or parking a few blocks away to avoid inebriated pedestrians and hefty parking fees.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
Looking for some PHENOMENAL ice cream to fight off the summer heat?? Look no further than Jeni's. Their dairy-free chocolate truffle is the bride's personal favorite. Their locations on both 12th and 21st are walk-able areas with lots of shops, dining options, and fun murals for any Instagram enthusiasts out there. Go on, do it for the 'gram.
Adventure Science Center
We're heard great things! Ironically, Cecilia has never been here before, but it's on her Nashville to-do list, and you may want to put it on yours as well! In fact, if you go, we invite you to invite us along. ;)
Vegan Vee Gluten-Free Bakery
If you want to experience a real-life miracle, stop by Vegan Vee's and try their gluten-free/dairy-free lemon blueberry muffins (or chocolate chip, or snickerdoodle, or breakfast muffins - you get the point.). We honestly had no idea allergy-friendly food could taste this amazing, but everything at this bakery is straight up dee-loy-cious. As a small, family-owned business, their hours vary, so be sure to check their website in advance!
