Question

Can I use my phone or DSLR camera during the wedding?

Answer

We LOVE that you want to remember our big day forever, and we hope you do! However, we ask that you only take pictures before the ceremony begins and resume after the ceremony has come to a complete close. We have hired our dear friend and AMAZING photographer Hannah Bjordnal to capture our day, and we reserve the right for Hannah to be the sole photographer during the ceremony. Too often, the best professional shots from the day are weakened with guests standing in the way of the hired photographer, who then is not able to get the shots desired by the couple. We want loads of pictures with you!! So please ask us during the reception!

Is there going to be a vegan or veggie option at reception dinner?

Answer

We have chosen a reception buffet so everyone and pick and choose the food they want from what is offered! There will be loads of food so find what you love and enjoy!

Question

Can I see the bride and groom throughout the rest of the week?

Answer

YES YES YES! We will be staying in Brindley Beach's Corolla Light complex, so meet us at the oceanside pool deck if you are also staying in a Corolla Light beach rental, or use the Corolla Light beach access point to find us on the beach! Our wedding will be Monday, and we hope to spend the rest of the week celebrating with you and our families!

What should I wear?

Answer

We have some suggestions on our Schedule page listed under the Ceremony information, but please wear what suites you best! Remember, it will likely be hot and the ceremony is in the grass before the dunes facing the ocean. Immediate family and grandparents will have formal portraits directly following the ceremony so bare this in mind! We cannot wait to enjoy these photos, along with reception photos captured by our guests for a lifetime!!

Are there rooms I can book at the Sanderling Resort wedding venue?

Answer

Absolutely! The Sanderling Resort has plenty of rooms and suites to book. Do not feel pressured to stay on site though! We love that the Outer Banks offers several rentals and rooms to book through tons of different companies, so find what works best for you!
