Tyler and I met as kids in our small town of Beaver, Pennsylvania. We had classes together in Elementary school and were consistently around each other due to our mutual passion for soccer from an early age. In high school just after ninth grade, we started spending time together and within a month made our relationship official! Fast forward 7 years, we watched each other grow up as our relationship grew as well. We moved to college together, lived together in Erie for two years. In December of 2017, after Becca graduated undergrad, Tyler planned a week-long trip to the Adirondack Mountains in New York so he could propose as we hiked the tallest mountain in the state! The proposal involved lots of anticipation and the best amount of happy tears, all captured on Tyler's camera and tripod that he carried over 15 miles to use just before he popped the question! It was everything I could have dreamed in a proposal. Over Tyler's various Army Reserves trainings we have learned to spend months at a time apart, but would never choose to live that way. So, when Tyler got accepted into a Ph.D. program at Clemson, South Carolina, we decided we would move South and start yet another journey together.

All of Becca's life her family has vacationed on the coastal islands of the Outer Banks, in North Carolina. For the past several years, Tyler too has joined the family vacation and fallen in love with OBX. It took some convincing, but in 2017, the Dinsmore's and Grimm's took a large family trip to Hatteras Island on the Outer Banks just a few months before the engagement. As OBX has become a special place near to all of our hearts, we decided to gather with our closest family and friends for an intimate wedding in Duck, along the grass just before the dunes at the beach.
